What it's all about
Buy an old banger, paint it, tart it up and make it as wacky as you can.Then in June drive it to Spain in 3 days doing challenges along the way while raising money for charity, only rule is you can only spend £250 on the banger. Drive to Dover the day before, Day one we will set off from Calais to Lyon via Dijon and Reims. On day two we will hit the Alps, ( hopefully not literally ) and Monaco then on to Nice. On the last day the French Riviera and cross the border to Barcelona. Nearly 3000 miles in a £250 banger," your having a laugh" people said. After scouring ebay and local facebook groups i was sternly told by her in doors that something the size of a baked bean can was no good as the hair dryer, straightners and everything else a woman carries in her bag was coming with us. So the search started again, I then got a phonecall from the loved one, get on facebook there's a Mazda 626 that the bloke said we can have for £250. A couple of hrs later we were the proud owners of it, very tidy with long MOT but the clutch is shot, now the work starts.( help needed by a garage please )
Next thing was deciding what theme to have, eventually we named it the Moo Mo'bile so the rest should come easy lol.
We're looking for sponsorship for the fuel costs and hotels so if any business wants to chip in and help us out with this we'll advertise your company / business with your logo on the car, this website along with my facebook page. Any sponsorship money not used will be donated to the charity, So hopefully that will bump up the charity money. Give me some of your business cards and i'll leave them all over Europe lol
